Angel Ridge Arabians

Angel Ridge Arabians is a small Arabian horse breeding farm owned and loved by the Hupp family: Doctors Greg and Suzanna, and sons Ethan and Alex. Suzanna has been a part of the Arabian industry for several decades. As a young woman, she trained professionally for Lorita Bogren in Texas and had the good fortune to make frequent trips to the famous Gleannloch Farms to learn tips from the master, Tom McNair. After a hiatus from horses to complete her doctorate, she began showing and training her own horses in Texas, and eventually stood her own straight Egyptian stallion AJ Shah Mehanna, provided riding lessons, and introduced a rural Texas community (that was steeped in Quarter Horses and Appaloosas) to the Arabian breed.

Both Ethan and Alex showed and excelled in equitation and various performance classes. While Alex began to pursue other athletic interests, Ethan continued showing and learning, eventually garnering numerous Youth National titles. As an adult, Ethan has continued his passion for the breed, living the dream as a career horseman in Scottsdale, Arizona, while Alex continues a more casual involvement.

In the past few years, Suzanna has attained her small “r” in the Arabian judging division, and is enjoying giving back to the breed she loves. At the same time, she and Greg were fortunate enough to acquire a beautiful young stallion by Shanghai EA, and out of the magnificent producer Vesperra. And while Vespascian started out as our family’s quiet indulgment, it became obvious that they were not going to be able to keep him only to themselves, as he is one of the only producing sons of the International superstar Shanghai EA that is easily available to US breeders.

So it is with great joy that they are making this genetic powerhouse available to the public!
